Well for our the assignment in this module, we were asked to work in pairs and design a business application for the Google Android platform. We were given a choice to implement the application on any platform if we wished to. However the project my team came up with was over ambitious for us to create and would have needed a programmer to help. Therefore we made-do with using Flash to give the tutor an idea of how our application functions. Along side the documentation we wrote.
The business application idea we drew up was a travel planner for business users. This travel planner is very clever as it automatically updates its address book, date and time to the country the user is located. However the user would need to enter the information about which flight, country and date they will be in that location, until GPRS technology is able to alter the date and time when it knows the location of a user.
The travel planner would act like a secetary as details of meetings and store important contact details for the business user. Therefore the user wouldn’t forget a meeting.

22-04-09: Received the result for the assignment and scored a mark of 64. This was due to us focusing too much on the product and its features, rather than the other 3Ps (price, place, promotion). I guess it was because we’re more of designers and execute the designs in different programs xP
I think this is a fairly high mark considering we argued discussed about the marking system in the last lesson . We were told that the business department are harsh markers and would only give marks up to 70 (80 for some), or else they’ll be penilised… This was because after this mark it’s an A-grade so there would be no point in giving the student any more marks. I understand his point but wouldn’t it be unfair to the student if they’ve already knocked 20 marks off the assignment before even marking the thing!? *sigh* Should just put the marking score from 40-80 xP Smaller region = easier to aim for. Though marking might be more harsh than it is…
